In less than 6 months since la Repubblica wrote about Sababa Security launch, we are on their pages again. This time the main Italian media highlights our Industrial SIEM project, supported by Start 4.0 Competence Center and the Italian government.
Within this project we are developing a SIEM system for Industrial enterprises alongside Iren and UniGe. This special type of SIEM will centrally process security events from cyber, physical and cyber-physical systems. As a result, industrial enterprises will be able to detect security incidents and recorgize cyber-attacks faster.

The importance of the industrial cybersecurity is widely discussed today. Therefore, Sababa Security project was not the only company that received financial support from the government. The other 7 projects won the first “Call for Industrial Research Projects and Experimental Development on Enabling 4.0 Technologies”. The Call started in early 2020 and attracted 26 applicants from all over Italy. We wrote about it in June, when Start 4.0 announced the Call results.
All of the winners have started developing their solutions to support Italian industrial enterprises in cyber safe overcoming the Industry 4.0 challenges. We plan to release the new type of SIEM in the middle of 2021.
