Sababa Security participated in the CSET Conference, that took place in Genova on the 16-17th of September. The Cyber Security for Energy & Transport Infrastructure Conference – or simply CSET – is conducted in Italy every summer. Promoted by Start 4.0 Competence Center, it unites security vendors and industrial enterprises to talk about security challenges and solutions for Energy, Transportation, Water Utility, Manufacturing, and other verticals, facing the Industry 4.0 transformation.
The 6th edition, initially planned for June 2020, was postponed for 3 months due to COVID-related circumstances. However, unlike most of the offline events this year, it successfully happened in September – with all required precautions and security measures. Only few representatives of the cyber security vendors and key industrial enterprises attended the Conference in person. The majority of the guests joined the event online from both inside and outside Italy.
During 2 days of the Conference the participants highlighted multiple security topics. Those included IoT, 5G, AI, correlation between cyber and physical security and safety, industrial compliance, and human errors.
“It was great to be a part of the CSET Conference in Genova. We discussed the impact of human errors to industrial cyber security and resilience. We also overviewed multiple aspects of cyber security, security, and safety. It was an honour for me to share the panel with such experts and have an opportunity to exchange opinions and learn from them”, – says Alessio Aceti, CEO at Sababa Security.
We would like to thank the organizers, security vendors, and guests for the great time spent together. Looking forward to meeting you during the next CSET Conference in 2021!
