6 October, Tashket – Sababa Security opens its first office outside Italy. Given the economic potential and numerous business opportunities, the company has chosen Uzbekistan as the base of its main hub in Central Asia. To celebrate this great step, Sababa Security held an event at the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan to highlight the importance of innovative solutions for companies and their business and the fundamental role of IT security for their correct implementation and use.
The event opened with a welcome speech by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy Otobek Akbarov, who helped the company get in touch with representatives of educational, financial and trade institutions.
The Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan Agostino Pinna, also welcomed the new Italian company in Uzbekistan and underlined the importance of communication between the two countries, not only economically, but also in the field of digital technologies. and innovations related to Cyber Security.
Participants in the event included representatives from various Ministries of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank, state and commercial banks, companies operating in the automotive, IT and telecommunications sectors, as well as the main universities of Tashkent.
During the event, representatives of Sababa, Linkem, Tatwir and Fintech Lab made several speeches on future growth plans in Uzbekistan and strategies to ensure the security of digital technologies in use in numerous organizations from different sectors.
“They were really impressed with the pace the business develops here in Uzbekistan. It is our fourth visit to Tashkent in 2021. In recent months we have concluded several commercial agreements and established important relationships with large companies ”, comments Alessio Aceti, CEO at Sababa Security. “We also collaborate with several universities. The plan for next year is to form a team of technicians here in Tashkent, who can support local organizations and be a point of contact with our competence center in Italy.”
